Ordering Large Blocks of Landsat Orthorectified Data

Landsat.org hosts the Global Orthorectified Landsat Datasets for three epochs: 1970's MSS, 1990's TM, and 2000's ETM+. We provide access to these data on a granual level basis for the global community of users for FREE via FTP.
However, users who wish to order the data on hard media can do so now. Landsat.org offers users the option to order data in bulk bundles on Maxtor firewire hard-drives, shipped expess mail globally. Bundles include all available MSS, TM, and ETM+ orthorectified data for specific areas. Users can place orders today for the following areas (see a map here):

Ordering is simple. Send an email to Landsat.org Ortho Bundle with the following information:

  • Position or Title
  • Organization
  • Address (to ship to, and please include a postal code)
  • Tel
  • Fax
  • E-mail
  • Short description of intended use for the data
  • Area desired (please select from the nine listed above).

We will send you an invoice for the amount due and payment instructions. Once payment is received data will be shipped express mail to you.

Users can also submit custom orders. Simply send us via email 1) lat/long bounding box coordinates, 2) an ESRI shapefile, 3) a list of country names, or 4) a list of WRS II Landsat Path/Rows.
